They could improve the communication. It is the only company in Monroe, so they are good. They could improve with better communication, I would like to know ahead of time who is coming.

They only come once a week. They do light house cleaning and put some medicine on my lower legs because they are irritated from Diabetes. I like that they are friendly and helpful. They are right on top of what I have asked them to do for me.

Right at Home took care of my dad for quite some time. Katie was very, very helpful in getting everything taken care of, everything set up, me getting the right paperwork and how to fill out and what to say on all of the paperwork that I needed. She organized everything, and she was the one that I contacted when I needed something. She's a community advocate. We had some good caregivers that really showed interest that they cared, especially the last one. She would bring home lunch and my dad and her would have pizza together and they would talk and visit and she did laundry. My dad still had my daughter coming in to clean the house, so there wasn't much cleaning to do. She was company for my dad and that was important to him. He had somebody there to talk to. Katie helped me with setting everything up. We had a couple of instances where she couldn't get people into work because of Covid. She couldn't give my dad the hours that he needed and nobody would show up at times, but that was not Katie's fault. The girls didn't want to work, and she couldn't get anybody in, and my dad was fussy about who we had coming in into the house. Katie was very good with letting me know what was going on. She kept me informed and when she couldn't get people, she would call me and let me know that he wasn't going to get anybody that day. Katie was an excellent person, but she was not a caregiver. She helped me tremendously in getting stuff taken care of. The care plan was pretty good. He got decent care when they were there. He had a catheter and they had to change the catheter bag and stuff and empty it. They provided meals. He had meals in the fridge or the freezer, and they would heat them up and give them to him. We had some good caregivers and some that didn't want to show up. The last lady we had that came in was very good.

They have helped the most by providing someone who can help him take a shower and make sure he doesn't fall. She also takes care of the basic needs he can't do himself. They are very friendly, they follow up, and they try to accommodate changing schedules.

I am not sure they could do anything to make my life easier with a client that has dementia. There were a few caregivers in the beginning that didn't do so well but that was resolved. They left him alone at times out of respect but I don't think that was what he really needed. There could be more consistency as far as having the same caregivers.

They take away stress from me. She does all the personal grooming on Mike. She does light cleaning. Those are all things I do not have to do. They seem rather short on personal. We have had changes made in our appointment times. Someone quit and they have to have someone cover their shift.

I would say that improves for us. They do very well here with us when they have the same staff. I would like to see them keep the same schedule that we started with. I'd also like to see the same people coming in which is hard for John because he has dementia.

I did not know my caregiver was coming the day on Friday so it was a little awkward. I like that my aid is very friendly and very good with my dad. She is wonderful and they are pretty flexible so it works well.

The person who comes during the week, I don't remember her name, didn't do much. Mostly sat around and looked at her cellphone. We stopped the weekly service because of it. Lisa, who comes on the weekend was very helpful and my mom really liked her.

Right at Home personnel, Amy and Chris, were excellent caregivers who provided for my wife, approximately 6 hours a day, Monday through Sunday, the last 3 months of her life. They were friendly with me and all the visitors to our house. They made sure that my wife was safe from the falls that she had had because of Parkinson's disease. They did laundry and helped her. I would be glad to recommend Right at Home to all family that needs excellent care for their loved one.

They do pretty well, except during the holidays. The girls had to work nights because there was nobody to work days. Everybody had children that were out of school, but I needed someone more in the morning. They still came and gave good service. They're always trying to help out and satisfy the customer.

I can't say enough good things about our caregiver! She is the best. She allows us to do other things and have a break and take care of the thing we need to take care of. She feeds him, makes sure he has his medication, and will even clean when we need her to. My dad just recently had his 93rd birthday and they actually sent him a birthday card and I thought that was sweet. I want the company to know that my particular caregiver, Georgia, is the best and deserves all the recognition.

I am a veteran and Kim helped with the whole process of getting me benefits through the VA. Kelsey my aide is very helpful with all my personal needs since I cannot walk without a walker. I don't know where I would be without the help that I have gotten from Right at Home.

Right at Home was a lifesaver for us! My mom needed 24-hour care on very short notice (over Christmas holiday) and Kim was able to accommodate us. The aides were absolutely wonderful. We thought of them like family. My mother no longer needs their services and she misses their company.

We had a significant lack of communication between the office and myself about scheduling and an extreme lack of competence in a few of the staff members. Part of their responsibility was to take my dad on a weekly errand once a week, and they had to drive him in either my car or their own car. For two months they gave us a non-licensed provider. The communication between the office and me needed to be better. They also needed to provide licensed providers so they could drive him. There was a lack of competence.

Right At Home has been the answer to my prayers. I had come to the end of my limits and needed a source of relief. My Loved One has a difficult need to meet with his mental illness creating all sorts of stresses and the unexpected. Right At Home had an angel on there roll and sent her to us. :) I am getting a much needed relief and my Loved One is getting excellent care and companionship. It is a Win-Win situation!
